Robert J. Sager

Robert J. Sager is Professor of Earth Sciences at Pierce College, where he teaches atmospheric science, environmental science, geology, and oceanography. Prof. Sager received his B.S. (Honors) in geology and M.S. in physical geography from the University of Wisconsin, and earned a J.D. from Western State University.

Prof. Sager is a licensed Washington State geologist and the author of numerous textbooks on earth science, water resources, weather, and geography. He is also the recipient of two national teaching excellence awards.

Prof. Sager's experience in international education includes teaching aboard the Semester-at-Sea program, leading natural history field courses to Kenya, Alaska, and Mexico, and teaching in the Washington State study abroad program in London, England and Florence, Italy.
